Last wednesday the Luxembourg Food Academy organised a Fairtrade Dinner at the brasserie Op der Breck in Kopstal. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner prepared with several Fairtrade ingredients.
Starter – Salad with goat’s cheese and honey with a mango-passion dressing. The following Fairtrade ingredients were used: honey (miel de fleurs) from Latin America, mango-passion juice for the dressing and a sweet pineapple.
Main Course – Chicken satay with seasonal vegetables, rice and quinoa. The following Fairtrade ingredients were used: peanuts from Nicaragua, coconut milk from Sri Lanka, rice and quinoa.
Dessert – Chocolat lava cake. The following Fairtrade ingredients were used: chocolat, sugar, physalis.
A great way to learn and taste Fairtrade.
