Coffee Workshop – 19.04.2015

On Sunday 19th of April the Luxembourg Food Academy organised its first workshop.

We visited the roaster and barista Saco Pica in his Babbocaffè in Esch-sur-Alzette.

During 2,5 hours the participants learned about the olfactory and gustatory properties of coffee, tried different tasting methods, tasted different espressi and became aware of how to differentiate good roasted coffee from industrial coffee.

 

“It gave me taste to go for another workshop organized by the Luxembourg Food Academy and go back to Babbocaffè for furthering my knowledge about coffee.” – Catherine
